A general car show on the grounds of the former Roebling Steel plant along the Delaware River. This is a fund raiser for the Roebling Museum.

What a great way to spend a beautiful July day! We visited Jeff's farm and he was kind enough to give us a tour of his Horse Drawn Carriage and Antique Car Collection. He has over 200 wagons and 100 cars mostly from the thirties, forties and fifties. The icing on the cake was when we arrived, it was already 97 degrees but all the building were AIR CONDITIONED!

Our season's first gathering, a picnic in the park at Windward Beach along the beautiful Metedecong River in Brick, NJ. Today we had a few wind wakeboarders entertaining us along with the occasional boater out for an early season ride.

Today we did the MS Walk for Jackie and Team Cruisin Against MS. Jackie was selected to receive an award for the "Most Inspirational Walker" for the Sandy Hook Site and she cut the ribbon to start this year's walk.

After a one week delay due to rain, the show went on! the weather was in the upper 70's and sunny when we got there, it rose to the lower 90's and was a great day for a car show. Setting up a couple of EZ Ups for shade, we set out to dust off and set up our PT Cruisers. This is a great show with a lot of classic and custom cars, there is something there to please everyone.

Once again, a group of Garden State Crew-zers went down to Dover, Delaware for the Lone Wolf Outlaw Cruiser's PT's Take Flight show at the Airplane Museum. They put on another great show and everyone had a great time! Special THANKS go out to Jim and his Crew for all their hard work!

We were luck to have Bill Haldeman take some main event Pictures for us this year. I was too busy with other tasks so I handed him my camera and asked him to take some pictures. His professional photographer experience shows in the results.

A wonderful day in Brick, NJ at beautiful Windward Beach Park. The weather could not have been any better. 77 degrees, hardly a cloud in the sky and a nice westerly breeze. We even saw a couple of cool boats out on the river.

Another great day for the walk in Sandy Hook. Our team, Cruisin Against MS, raised over $4,500.00 this year, a new record for us and brings out "team" total for the years we have been participating to over $15,000.00. This is only possible because of the support of all our families, friends and PT Cruiser Clubs who have banded together for this cause. While the walk is over for this year, we are till collecting donations until June.

OK, so this really isn't a "PT" event but we had a lot of PTs there. And now I realize that I didn't really take any pictures of the people there? I was behind Joey when he was opening his stuff and too busy talking to people to take a lot of group shots? Good thing Joe G. was there to get them all, and Rita has promised to share her photos so I will add them here when I get them. At least everyone had a great time, the weather was great and the food was incredible. What more could we ask for?

This is a fund raiser for the fire department up in Beemerville, Sussex County, NJ. It was a hike for most of us but turned out to be a great day. Nice friendly folks, beautiful building and setting. We even got to see them scramble for a few calls while we were there.

AUG 1st a bunch of the Garden State Crew-zers traveled south to Quantico, Virginia to a wonderful park next to the base and the Marine Museum. The venue was beautiful and everyone that attended had a wonderful day, all courtesy of Penny and Don Spatzer and their wonderful Virginia Route 66 PT Cruiser Club Staff. There was a second show in the area next to the PT Cruisers exclusively for military owner's personal vehicles (no make/model limitations). They had a great selection of military Jeeps (These were AWESOME!) and classic cars. All proceeds from booths, food, crafts and activities benefit the Fisher House Foundation, caring for wounded warriors in recovery.

About 30 PT Cruisers from New Jersey and Pennsylvania got together to be in the Woodbridge St. Patrick's Day Parade. This is the eight year that Ray has had us participate in the parade! It was a great day for a parade!

Could not have picked a better day for the Spring Picnic. Mid 70 degrees, clear blue skies and a very light breeze. We had 24 PT Cruisers show up with many new faces. Welcome all to the 2007 Garden State Crew-zers season!

The Garden State Crew-zers joined with a bunch of other PT Clubs to join Jacki & Gabe's team for the MS Walk today. We had beautiful weather and everyone did a great job. These are a few pictures i took during the event.

Some of the Garden State Crew-zers cruised on down to the Air Mobility Command Museum for the Lone Wolf Outlaw's "PTs Take Flight" show. This was an awesome show! Great cars, great planes, great weather and great friends. Jim T and his staff produced an outstanding event. These few pictures really do not do it justice, you had to be there and see it in person. Thanks Joe G for the Hornet shots, they were gone by the time I got around to them.

A bunch of the Garden State Crew-zers went up to Watkins Glen, NY for the Empire State Cruisers, Cruise the Glen Car Show. There was a great turn out for this show and everyone had a great time! Lots of beautiful Cruisers and very friendly people. The lake looked beautiful Saturday. Congrats to the the trophy winners, many of them were Garden State Crew-zer members!

A "Winter Break in Mystic, Connecticut" with the Long Island Cruisers. This was a small gathering where friends got to spend a lot of quality time together. Parlour games in the Motel, Prizes for all, Great lunches and dinners out, and too many things to do. We will have to return to mystic during the "season' to complete what we missed out on. There were a few trips to the Aquarium, Shopping, Lunch at Mystoc Pizza, Shopping, Scenic Drives and photo ops in Historic Mystic and, of course, more Shopping. We all had a great time!

Nipper and Ray have been doing the Woodbridge St. Patricks Day Parade for six years now and everyone always has a great time. We had a great turn out and won the plaque for the "Best Mobile Unit" for the sixth consecutive year! I forgot my camera so I collected some pictures from Nipper, Joe, Gary and Tinker and put them up here.

Our first venture to this event along the Delaware River. Beautiful weather and a lot of people lined the streets to see the floats, marchers, bands and cars. The picnic afterwards was great, thanks to our hosts Nipper & Barbara. Poor Joey was plum tuckered out by all the work setting up the train, as you can see!

My old friend, Tony "Mr. Sunoco" Zampetti called me and told me about a local car show at the Rosewood Care Center in Brick. I took a break from packing and went over for a look see. Turn out was probably small due to light rain in the morning but the cars that showed up were all top notch. MY favorite was the green Road Runner but the Green and White '59 Ford Fairlane won the Peoples Choice.

What happens when the show organizer decides to cancel the show but not tell the other clubs that have been attending for years? You get a bunch of PT Cruisers traveling all the way down to Smithville with no host club! Look to see this show next year as a GSC event. Snap-On is out! Thanks to those who came down.

Had a great time at the Phillipsburg/Easton Post Halloween Parade. The weather was great, the crowd was hugs and the PTs looking quite frightful! Special Thanks to Rick for leading the funeral procession with his hearse!

The Somerset Patriots, an Atlantic Conference minor leage baseball team, invited us out for a pre-game mini car show and parade lap of the stadium. We all stayed on the field for about 30 minutes while pictures were taken and our cars were flashed up on the Big Screen. Following our show, the ball game was played with the home team winning. What a nice event!

We all joined up with the New Jersey Cruisers for the annual Woodbridge, NJ Holiday Parade. Everyone showed off their Holiday Decorated PTs and the crowds along the parade route seemed to really like our cars. Dinner after the parade was held at the K of C and the catering was arrainged by Terry & Barbara.

South Bound Brook Volunteer Fire Department's Annual Rod & Kustom Show. Fantastic day with a lot of new and old friends. Three Pop-Ups provided a shady spot to sit and chat. Lots of fine looking cars and trucks filled the field. Our group was well received and brought home 5 trophies. We were only one PT short of tying for the "Club Participation" award, we'll try harder next year!

A bunch of us Garden State Crew-zers went over to PA today to meet up with Tammy, John and the Del Val Cruisers for a charity event at the Nifty Fifties Restaurant. Had a great time and even brought home a bunch of trophies. Gary got pictures of awards.

Jim and Donna Ilardi were kind enough to open up their beautiful pool and house to the PT Community for a picnic yesterday. We had a great time and it was really nice to see our PT friends from NY, CT and RI.

A bunch of Garden State Crew-zers Drove down to Smitville Village today for the annual Snap-On Car Show. We had a great day with goo dfriends, good food and shopping. Another hot and sunny show! Congrats to "Casper" for adding another trophy to his collection!

The Long Island PT Cruiser Director, JoAnn (PLUMETTA) Nevins and her husband, Dan (KING MIDAS), open up their hearts and home to a bunch of lunatics every year for the best pool party on all of Long Island! We ate, we sang, we drove all over Long Island and some of us even went in the pool! Dan won the diving contest, the judges were very impressed. JoAnn debued her new baby "Lavetta" and the weekend turned into a mini mod party with Lavetta getting interior neons, Plumetta getting a much needed battery servicing and Vicki's Silver PT getting hood lights and stobes installed by our very own Tinker! MYREDPT got a new selection of rear shelf neons as well. Many THANKS go out to JoAnn and Dan, everyone had a blast!

The early days, when Shore Thing meant spending the day in the wind and rain at the 7 Presidents Park. This year's show actually got uprooted and moved back to the Motel because the conditions at the park were unbearable. Through it all, everyone had a great time and all the cars looked great, wet or dry!

Went to the Custom Motorcycle & Chopper show and swap meet in Somerset, New Jersey today. Waited outside in 29 degree weather for over an hour to get in. The Martin Brothers and Exile were there along with scores of local builders. There were parts and clothing vendors there, a pretty nice show. Even the live band was pretty good.

Fishing boat out of Cape May sprung a leak off the Manasquan Inlet and they beached it on the beach in Bay Head so that it would not sink. The next day they decided it suffered too much damage from the waves during the night and they cut it up and junked it.

Took a ride over to the Manasquan Reservoir and took their pontoon boat tour. Erin, our park ranger tour guide, pointed out all the Eagle, Heron and Osprey nest and young hatchlings. The weather was great and the tour was very interesting. These pictures are not retouched or color corrected.

Took a ride down to A/C today and stopped at the Aquarium in Gardener's Basin. Is is smaller than I expected but we had a good time and saw some interesting fish and things.
