NOTE: Plan on dressing
comfortable for the entire weekend (wear sneakers, jeans, shorts etc.).
That includes the park, private dinner and Sunday activities. Just come
and have fun at the beautiful New Jersey Shore!
Bathrooms shpuld be available on both sides of the lot and in
the firehouse.
This is not your typical parking lot car show! We try to pack in as many activities as we can to make your day enjoyable. We have an
open beach, Surf Fishing, enclosed playground for the kids, Kite Flying,
beach volleyball courts, RC Car Racing, Sand Sculpture contest on the beach, Fire Trucks on display, and the host motel, show and beach are all pet
friendly! Bring your doggie with you but remember to pick up after
your pooch!
This year our show will again be combine with the Sea Bright Community Day so we will also have a flea market and various vendor booths on our location to keep you occupied during the day. We will have our same lot for the show and the firehouse for our Auction and Dinner.
The township has also scheduled a "skim boad" event for the sme day so the parking lots, beach and roads are bound to be active..
(September 18th) Friday Afternoon / Evening
For those in town already..
3:00 - 8:00 : Many of the early bunch meet at "Sallee Tee's" Dockside Restaurant
located on the river side in Monmouth Beach. Sallee Tee's has a wide
selection of excellent food at great prices like sushi, ribs, Italian,
seafood, burgers, huge sandwiches and more. Every dish is better than
the next. Ask anyone who has previously attended about this great place.
Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the area.
In
the mood for Pizza? The Mad Hatter on Ocean Avenue, just a few doors south of the
firehouse, has the best thin crust Pizza around. Plenty of cold suds
on tap and a menu that includes such favorites as Buffalo Chicken sandwiches, salads and pasta dishes.
Arriving
late and too tired to travel? The Holiday Inn next to the Red Roof has
a pretty good restaurant and there is an excellent Appleby's right on Hope Road
just north of the Red Roof on the other side of Rt. 36. To get to Appleby's, just turn left out of the Motel lots and continue across at the light to Appleby's.
Dusk to ? PT Cruiser Glow Show - Meet & Greet
Meet back at Red Roof Inn's rear parking lot to show off your neons, relax and hang out with your friends. Friday Night attendees may pick up their registration packets and avoid the lines on Saturday morning. Your registration dash card will get you into Casper's VIP entrance to the show! The
trophy for "Best Neon Display". Will be handed out during the Award
Ceremony on Saturday at the park.
(September 19th) Saturday -
What everyone's been waiting for...
9:00-10:00 Gates open and check-in begins at the Sea Bright Municipal
Lot, Ocean Avenue (Route 36), Sea Bright, New Jersey.

10:30 We will open the show with the singing of the National Anthem, Carmen has agreed to sing the Anthem for us again this year. PLEASE join us at Dennis Daniel's Black PT for this!
Pre-registered attendees will drive up and pick up your stuff.
Then follow the instructions from Nipper and his parking attendants as they
will guide you to your parking space.
If you're not already
pre-registered, don't worry, you can register at
the show. There will be a second line for unregistered
participants. Signs will be posted! We may be sharing the complex this year with the town's community day so be careful pulling in (don't run over the spectators).
If you are not registered, you'll just need to
fill out a quick form so we can get you a name tag, a registration
dash sheet and assign you a number for the door prize raffle give-aways.
Upon filling out the form you can then be guided to your parking spot by
one of our parking attendants.
Now it's time to have some fun with some great people!
Walk around meet some new friends and reunite with some old ones. Check
out many PT styles that you may not have seen yet. Look and see how that "mod" you are looking to add will look installed on a
PT.

our show.

Maggie
will be at the show for her ninth straight year! She will
be bringing a limited assortment of PT Accessories. As always,
if you want an accessory in a specific color or a special
item, just call her or send her an email and she will make

MATT The Pin Striper
We were fortunate enough to get Matt Lamborn, the pin striper from Maggie's Cruisin' Clarion Show to come out to New Jersey for our show this year. Matt will be set up at the Red Roof Inn rear parking lot all day Friday and will be at the show next to Maggie's Race & Street Booth all day. He will have his mobile cart with him so he can come to your vehicle in the parking lot so you do not have to move around during the day. You will want to see Matt as soon as possible each day so he can put you into his schedule.

Sand Castle Competition
Bring your shovels and buckets! Terry (aka NIPPER) will be running the first annual sand castle competition on the beach. A special trophy will be awarded to the best presentation.
11:00 Door prize giveaways begin
You should have received a ticket when you signed in! Winning numbers will be posted on the white board in the firehouse, come on by with your ticket and look for your number! Prizes range
from CDs, cleaning supplies, gift certificates, t-shirts, hats and lots more.
1:30 Sand Castle Judging Terry will be selecting the best sand sculpture presentation for our first annual competition. The trophy will be awarded at the Awards Presentation. Here are a few rules for the competition
1. Do not destroy the sculpture next to yours
2. No Age Limit
3. Can be one or multiple sculptors, form a team if you like.
4. Only sand from the beach can be used, no additional materials allowed.
5. To be completed in 2 hours, startingtime is 10:30
2:00 Chinese Auction winners will be drawn and you can pick up your winning items.
2:30 Award Ceremony
This year our judges will be selecting the Top 24 PT Cruisers out of
our show field. They will choose these cars based on all of the unique
phases of PT Showmanship including themes, tailgates, wild paint jobs,
custom interiors, custom engine bays, etc. There will also be a trophy
for Neons, RC Races(space permitting) and Sand Sculptures.
A panel will be selected to judge all categories.
4:00 PT Cruiser Parade
We need to be PACKED and LOADED for our famous cruise up though Sea
Bright, around Sandy Hook and the famous Light House and back to the
firehouse for dinner.
5:30 Private Dinner at the FIREHOUSE
For those who have purchased dinner reservations, after the cruise
around Sandy Hook, we will be having a catered buffet dinner back at
the firehouse. Your Direstors and Staff will be serving the dinner this year, supplied by D'Aprile Family Caterers. Price will be $20.00
per Adult and $10.00 per child (5 to 12 years old, under 5 free)
(September 20st) Sunday - Poker Rally
The fun continues...
7:00 - 9:00 Amy's Omelet House
Located in Ursula Plaza on Ocean Boulevard in Long
Branch only 5 minutes South of the show parking lot, one block on the left
after you turn onto Ocean Avenue from Route 36 if coming from the Red Roof
Inn.
Some will be meeting here for breakfast. They make great breakfast
at reasonable prices (all under 5 dollars). Show up anytime you like.
Cruisers will be in and out of there all morning. Check for discount
coupons (1 dollar off each entree) in your goodie bag. See us if you
didn't get any.
10:00 (tentative starting time) Shore Thing's own Poker Rally (our famous Lighthouse Tour!)!
We plan on having
another Poker Rally this year. We will have a fun course with a cruise
along some of the most beautiful roads with the nicest homes in Monmouth
County, and maybe a visit to a lighthouse or two. A relaxing ride with stops providing fantastic viewpoints. You will visit the highest vantage point along the Atlantic Seaboard!
