2004 Wheels & Wings Airshow & Car Show
We bring to you the
first of many great events for 2004!
The Garden State 50's Club have invited us down again this year for our second annual
event.
Take one of the greatest jet teams of all time, the United States Air Force
Thunderbirds and add dozens of PT Cruisers (both customized and non-customized), the
Split Image Aerobatic Team, the Air Force Reserve ‘Above & Beyond’ Jet Car
Show, Freefall Adventures Parachute Jumping Demonstration, USAF F-15C Eagle Demonstration
Team, Aeroshell Aerobatic Team, Hawaiian Jet Fire Truck, Eric Beard’s Russian Thunder
YAK-54, US Coast Guard Search & Rescue Demonstration, Military Flyby, World War II
Aircraft, and the Psychogang Extreme Motorcycle Club, along with many other flying demos,
great static displays of all sorts of aircraft, vintage warbirds, homebuilts, modern
military, and tons of antique and classic cars and you have a show you don't want to miss.
Millville is the only airshow in the region that features a major car show in conjunction
with the airshow. Hundreds of beautifully restored classic and antique automobiles will be
presented by the Garden State 50’s Auto Club of Southern New Jersey. It is the
largest car show in southern New Jersey and one of the top five in the whole Mid-Atlantic
Region. Food and craft vendors will also be on hand for the crowds.
A new feature has been added to the 2004 aviation event. An evening show entitled Light
the Night will take place on Friday evening, April 30, 2004. This is the first-ever night
airshow in the State of New Jersey.
This is without a doubt the biggest and best of it's kind on the East Coast!
The normal entrance fee for this show is $15/adults and $10/children but we are getting a
SPECIAL RATE for our attendees of only $15 per car (2 people). That's right only $15 per
PT Cruiser allowing 2 people. All additional passengers will be charged $10 per person.
But you MUST be part of our show to get this special deal.
Included in this price you will get a free dash plaque (from the Garden State 50s Club),
entrance into trophy categories and the best spot possible to watch the air show. We are
located in our own area on the grass field in direct view of the air show!

Most of us will be staying at the Best Western Hotel of Millville. They are located at the
Holly City Restaurant where we are meeting at the morning of the event. When reserving
your room tell them you are with the "Garden State Crew-zers PT Cruiser Club" to
get our special rate of $55 per night.

Come show off your neons, strobes etc. Trophy awarded for
"Best Neon Display". We'll also be handing out a bunch of glow bracelets and
necklaces just for the fun of it!

6:00 - 7:30 AM - Meet at
Holly City Diner/Restaurant & Lounge (1701 N Second St., Millville, NJ)
This diner/restaurant opens at 6:00 AM and is only five
minutes from the event. Let's meet here and maybe grab a bite to eat. Then we can cruise
in together as a group. This restaurant is conveniently located at the Best Western Hotel
where most of us are staying at.

7:45 AM - Time to Cruise
Let's gather up our belongings, line up and head out to the
event. Gates officially open at 8:30 AM but we will have access at 8:00 AM.
8:00 - 10:00 AM - Arrival
Time
If you do not hook up with us at the diner, please plan on
arriving no later than 10:00 AM. There will be a line forming after 9:00 AM to enter the
event so please plan accordingly. Follow the Antique/Classic Car Show signs and announce
that you are part of the car show for quick private entrance.

Lunch/Leisure Time
You might want to grab some lunch from one of the many food
vendors that will be there. You may also bring your own in a cooler. Walk around and look
at all the great static aircraft displays and tons of antique and classic cars. You may
also want to wander through the Millville Army Air Field Museum. Lots to see and do.
2:00 PM - Ballots due
Please have your ballots submitted to us for the
"People's Choice Award".
4:00 PM - Award Ceremony
(after the Thunderbirds perform)
For those with customized PT Cruisers, it's time to hand out
the trophies. Currently the trophy categories are "People's Choice", "Best
of Show", "Director's Choice". Garden State 50's club will also be awarding
our club 3 trophies of their own.
5:00 PM - Head back to
Holly City Diner/Restaurant & Lounge
Let the departing traffic die out and grab a bite to eat, a
quick beer or just come and hang out!

Garden State Crew-zers is a chapter of the PT Cruiser Club
